Privacy Policy

PizzaLayer and PizzaLayerPro are WordPress plugins. This privacy policy applies to the pizzalayer.com website only — not to any WordPress site on which the plugin is installed. Plugin operators are responsible for their own privacy practices.
When the contact form is submitted, the following information is collected: name, email address, selected topic, subject line, and message body. This data is transmitted via email to Island Sun Design and is not stored in a database on this server.
When the free PizzaLayer plugin is downloaded from this site, the following information is logged to a server-side file: timestamp of the request, email address entered in the download form, and the IP address of the request. This log is used solely to understand download volume and contact users about major plugin updates if needed. It is not shared with third parties.
A short-lived, cryptographically signed download token is generated to authenticate the file request. This token expires after 15 minutes and is not stored beyond the server's memory during the request.
Standard web server access logs may record IP addresses, browser type, referring URLs, and pages visited. These logs are used solely for security monitoring and are not sold or shared.
This site uses Google Analytics (GA4) to collect anonymized usage data, including pages visited, approximate geographic region, browser type, and session duration. Google Analytics uses cookies and may collect your IP address, which Google may use in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. No personally identifiable information is sent to Google Analytics by this site. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Contact form submissions are used solely to respond to the inquiry. Email addresses collected via the download form may be used to notify you of significant PizzaLayer plugin updates (major releases only); they are not used for marketing and are not added to automated mailing lists. No contact or download data is sold, rented, or shared with third parties.

No personal data beyond what is standard for a CDN or analytics request is transmitted to these services by this site.
The free PizzaLayer plugin itself does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data from end users. PizzaLayerPro, when used with WooCommerce, processes customer order data — this is handled entirely within the WordPress/WooCommerce installation on the operator's server. Island Sun Design does not have access to any end-customer data from plugin installations.
Contact form emails are retained in the email inbox and deleted periodically at discretion. Download log entries (timestamp, IP, email) are stored in a server-side file and reviewed periodically; entries older than 12 months are purged. There is no automated retention schedule beyond this. Requests for deletion of any submitted data can be made by emailing ryan@islandsundesign.com.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data submitted to this site. To exercise these rights, contact ryan@islandsundesign.com. Requests will be responded to within 30 days.
Reasonable technical measures are in place to protect data submitted via this site, including HTTPS encryption and server-level access controls. However, no transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
This policy may be updated periodically. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
