1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing this website (pizzalayer.com) or downloading, installing, or using the PizzaLayer or PizzaLayerPro plugins, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the site or the software.

2. About the Plugins

PizzaLayer is a free, open-source WordPress plugin released under the GNU General Public License v2.0 (GPL-2.0). It is provided at no charge and may be freely used, modified, and redistributed in accordance with the GPL.

PizzaLayerPro is a paid extension also released under GPL-2.0. A valid license is required to receive support and updates. The license does not restrict your rights under the GPL — you retain the right to use, modify, and redistribute the code.

3. Use of This Website

This website is provided for informational and commercial purposes related to the PizzaLayer plugin ecosystem. You agree not to:

  • Use the site in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international law.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the site or its infrastructure.
  • Transmit unsolicited commercial communications or spam via the contact form.
  • Scrape, crawl, or harvest content from this site in bulk without written permission.

4. Intellectual Property

The PizzaLayer and PizzaLayerPro source code is licensed under GPL-2.0 and authored by Ryan Bishop / Island Sun Design. The plugin name, logo, and site design are proprietary. Use of the name "PizzaLayer" or associated branding to promote derivative or competing products requires prior written consent.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The PizzaLayer plugin and this website are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Island Sun Design makes no warranties regarding merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Use of the plugin is entirely at your own risk.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Island Sun Design and Ryan Bishop shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use or inability to use PizzaLayer, PizzaLayerPro, or this website — even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

7. PizzaLayerPro License Terms

Purchase of a PizzaLayerPro license grants you the right to use the plugin on the number of sites specified in your license tier. The license does not expire for the version purchased, but support and updates require an active license. Redistribution of PizzaLayerPro to third parties as a standalone product is not permitted without a reseller agreement.

8. Refund Policy

PizzaLayerPro purchases are backed by a satisfaction guarantee. Here's exactly how refunds work:

14-Day Satisfaction Window. You may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase. No lengthy back-and-forth required — if the plugin genuinely isn't a fit, a full refund will be issued.

What qualifies:

  • PizzaLayerPro does not function as described on the product page and the issue cannot be resolved through support.
  • A critical incompatibility exists with your WordPress or WooCommerce version that cannot be patched in a timely manner.
  • You purchased in error (duplicate order, wrong product).

What doesn't qualify:

  • Change of mind after downloading and using the plugin.
  • Incompatibility with a third-party plugin or theme not listed in the plugin requirements.
  • Requests submitted more than 14 days after purchase.

How to request. Submit your request via the contact page within the 14-day window. Include your order number and a brief description of the issue. Refunds are processed within 5 business days of approval.

Because PizzaLayerPro is a digital product delivered immediately upon purchase, refunds are issued as a one-time courtesy and are not available for subsequent purchases of the same license.

9. Changes to These Terms

These terms may be updated periodically. Continued use of the site or plugins after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes.
